Prairie Village Breaks Ground on New Fire Station
Kansas City, Missouri — Prairie Village city leaders, firemen and developers break ground on 15,000 sf fire station. The station is being designed by Archimages, Inc and constructed by HarenLaughlin Construction, with Newmark Grubb Zimmer acting as the Owner’s Representative, who also provided brokerage services for the new location. The new station will feature three bays and help Consolidated Fire District No. 2 to be more centralized and provide quicker response times for emergencies. Construction is expected to be complete in the fourth quarter of 2018.
