Mark C. Long Takes Office as 2018 Member-at-Large on the Board of Directors for SIOR

Kansas City, MO (December 2018) —  Mark C. Long, SIOR, CCIM, LEED AP, Executive Managing Director, Principal with Newmark Grubb Zimmer in Kansas City, MO, was installed as Member-at-Large on the Board of Directors for the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors® (SIOR) during the SIOR Fall World Conference in Denver, CO. Mr. Long will serve a one-year term on the SIOR Board of Directors.

Mr. Long joined Newmark Grubb Zimmer upon graduating with honors from Rockhurst University in 1995. He has been involved in more than 600 transactions representing more than 15 million square feet of industrial, medical, office and retail space. Currently, Mr. Long is active in commercial real estate investment and development, industrial and office brokerage and corporate services.

An SIOR member since 2000, Mr. Long first served on the Board of Directors in 2014. Previously held SIOR leadership positions include: Past Regional Director of the Nominating Committee and Member-at-Large of the Performance Oversight Management Committee.
